Certificate of completion is missing

Certificates of completion were previously available on a number of Modules.  However, since 2017, new Modules no longer provide a certificate option.  This is because details of any learning completed is transferred to your iTrent Learning Record, which can be accessed on Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS).

The number of Modules that do provide a certificate of completion will reduce as they are updated.

Details of successful completion of learning is extracted from LearnER and transferred to iTrent on a regular basis.  However, there can be a time delay of 1 to 4 weeks on some occasions.   Please note, iTrent DOES NOT hold a certificate, instead it will show details of the Module and the date it was completed.  You can print a copy of your Learning Record directly from ESS.

 

I do not have a User Account

All learners must have a User Account to access LearnER.  If you are a Directorate Based colleague and:

    • have an eastriding.gov.uk or nhs.net email address, please use the Self-Service Account Creation facility available here.
    • do not have an eastriding.gov.uk or nhs.net email address, please raise an IT Service Desk call asking for a LearnER User Account for a non-network user.  Please note, if you are happy to do so, you can provide a Personal Email Address to be used with your LearnER account, which will allow you to access the Self-Service Password Reset facility if needed in the future.

 

When creating an account, please remember:

    • Use your name that is held on your HR records, otherwise we may not be able to validate your account and it can lead it being suspended and access blocked.
    • Always remember to put the fullstop, i.e. ' . ' in your email address - you will not receive an account creation email if you email address is wrong.
    • DO NOT create a new account if you change your name, you can update your existing account with your new details.
    • DO NOT create a new account if you have put an incorrect email address during the account creation process - raise an IT Service Desk call and the failed account creation can be updated.

 

I have forgotten my password

If you you have an an eastriding.gov.uk email address, nhs.net email address or a Personal Email Address linked to your LearnER account, please user the Self-Service Password Reset facility available here.

If you do not have an email address linked to your LearnER account or have not received a Reset Password Email, please raise an IT Service Desk call.  Please note, if you are happy to do so, you can provide a Personal Email Address to be used with your LearnER account, which will allow you to access the Self-Service Password Reset facility if needed in the future.

 

Popup Windows are blocked / the eLearning Module is blocked by Popup Blockers

Popup Blockers are a security feature within a Web Browser to stop sites opening new Browser Windows without your consent.  Popup Blocker settings are specific to YOUR BROWSER and CANNOT be changed by LearnER.

The following provides guidance on how you can allow and block popups.
